Welcome to a space where Reiki is more than a practice — it’s a path to transformation. I’m Tish Niedzwiecki, a Certified Reiki Master Teacher and the creator of Higher Mind Reiki (HMR). For over 25 years, I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the depths of energy healing and supporting others on their healing journeys. My passion for Reiki stems from a deep knowing that healing isn’t about "fixing" people — it’s about helping them reconnect with their wholeness.

Unlike traditional Reiki courses that follow a fixed, surface-level approach, Higher Mind Reiki (HMR) goes deeper. It’s designed to offer students a complete journey into Reiki, from understanding the energy body to mastering self-attunement and learning to provide professional Reiki sessions. The HMR method blends ancient wisdom with modern energy healing techniques, offering a comprehensive, heart-centered education that’s clear, practical, and empowering.

As a student in HMR, you’ll experience a one-of-a-kind curriculum that includes over 80 lessons across 4 transformative levels. From learning how to feel energy in your hands to mastering body scans, chakra analysis, and professional Reiki sessions, this course takes you beyond the basics. You’ll gain the skills, confidence, and clarity needed to work with energy on a deeper level — whether it’s for self-healing or sharing Reiki with others.

But my work doesn’t stop with teaching. I also offer personalized Reiki sessions through Soulspirational Wellness Studio, where clients receive the care and attention they deserve. Each session is crafted to address the client’s emotional, spiritual, and energetic needs. By blending Reiki, vibroacoustic therapy (VAT), and other energy techniques, I create a powerful, multidimensional healing experience. Every session is tailored to support your unique journey to wellness.

What IS REIKI ?

The term comes from two Japanese words, "Rei," meaning "universal," and "Ki," or "life force energy." Reiki loosely translates as "universal life-force energy."

Reiki is a spiritual practice that aims to promote physical and emotional healing by channeling energy into a recipient's body. It is based on the idea that there is a universal life force energy that flows through all living things, and by balancing and strengthening this energy, it can help to reduce stress, alleviate pain, and promote relaxation and overall wellbeing. Reiki can be used on its own or as a complementary therapy to traditional medical treatments.

REIKI History

The history of Reiki starts in Japan in the early 20th century. The founder of usui reiki, Mikao Usui, was a Japanese Buddhist who developed the technique after years of study and meditation. He believed that Reiki was a method of channeling universal life force energy to promote healing and balance in the body and mind.

Usui believed that this energy was present in all living things and could be harnessed for healing purposes.

Over time, Reiki spread beyond Japan and became popular in the Western world, where it was adapted and modified by different practitioners. Today, there are many different forms of Reiki, each with its own unique approach and techniques.

One of the core beliefs of Reiki is that the universal life force energy is available to everyone, regardless of their background or culture. This is why Reiki practitioners often say that Reiki is not limited to any specific culture or ritual. In fact, many practitioners of Reiki come from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds and may integrate their own beliefs and practices into their Reiki practice. For example, some Reiki practitioners may incorporate elements of Hinduism or Buddhism into their practice, while others may focus more on the scientific and physiological aspects of Reiki.

Ultimately, the use of universal life force energy should not be limited to any specific culture or ritual because it is a fundamental aspect of the universe itself. By tapping into this energy, we can promote healing and balance in ourselves and others, regardless of our cultural or spiritual background

What are REIKI ATTUNEMENTS?

The attunement begins with meditation. During the meditation, the teacher places reiki symbols into the student's energy body. There is also usually a blessing and intention statement during the process.

It is a beautiful, sacred process. However, I've come to realize that I've been doing for the student what the student could be doing for themselves. As a reiki master, I do not have more power than anyone else. In HIGHER MIND REIKI, the student is empowered to attune ("tune into") reiki themselves, on day one. This makes the attunement more powerful and actually gives the students a better understanding of reiki.

And symbols? You do not need to be attuned to symbols in order to be attuned to reiki. Reiki is, after all, Universal Life Force Energy. It's available to ALL of us, right here, right now - no symbols required.

Most students do not know they will have symbols placed within their energy body, let alone what their purpose is. I believe the student should decide whether or not they'd like to be attuned to symbols, and to consciously attune to them themselves. I'll show you how in level III.

HIGHER MIND REIKI COURSE WITH REIKI MASTER TISH

• Higher Mind Reiki (HMR) is a way to develop self healing, your intuition, attain inner peace, and reach higher states of consciousness.

• There are many reiki modalities in use today, but HMR is a dynamic work that blends traditional techniques with modern psychological and scientific data.

• This initial foundation class will be equivalent to standard reiki levels one, two, and three (Master level). You will learn how to use and work with reiki; you’ll also learn how to send it.

• I will share techniques, knowledge, and experiences with you for practical application. Whether you’re just beginning or have been practicing for a while, you will gain insight and understanding of how to use Higher Mind Reiki.

• I will show you how to integrate reiki into your daily life, and how to apply it for self-healing as well as for healing others.

• We will also explore the metaphysical aspects of HMR, and learn about symbols, mantras, and how to intuit and interpret energy.

• You will be given a manual, certificate of completion, meditation scripts and guidance for self-study. Upon successful completion of the class you will receive a Higher Mind Reiki Master Level certificate.

• After taking this course, you will have gained powerful insight into reiki and be able to use this amazing modality to help yourself and others.

HAND POSITIONS

In HMR we do not use traditional hand positions because we believe that the universal life force energy can be accessed and channeled through intention and visualization rather than specific hand placements.

Reiki energy is not limited by physical boundaries, so it can be channeled to any part of the body or energy field without the need for specific hand positions.

Additionally, each individual's energy field is unique, so the energy will naturally flow to where it is needed most, regardless of specific hand positions.

Ultimately, the intention and connection to the universal life force energy is most important in Reiki practice, rather than adhering to specific hand positions.

HIGHER MIND REIKI is the culmination of four years of development in collaboration with a physician, medical intuitive and reiki master.
